This research was carried out at the BPDAS Palu Poso Permanent Nursery in the Tadulako University area. This research was carried out from April to November 2023. This research used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments including P0= No Treatment, P1= 150 gr Manure P2= 200 gr Cow Manure P3= 250 gr Cow Manure. Each treatment was repeated 10 times so that there were 40 experimental units. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the growth of turi seedlings in ex-gold mining soil with the application of cow manure had a significant effect on the increase in height, diameter and number of leaves. Apart from using yeast to produce good white bread, the final proofing time also affects the characteristics of bread. This research aims to determine the effect of using natural sourdough yeast and the final proofing time on the physical properties of white bread. This research was conducted at the integrated food laboratory of the Agro-Industry. The research design used was a one-factor completely randomized design with the independent variable used, namely the percentage of use of 0% natural sourdough yeast (instant yeast) , 15%, 30%, 45% and combined with final proofing treatment lengths of 45 minutes, 90 minutes, 135 minutes, 180 minutes, to obtain 16 treatments which were repeated 3 times. Analysis testing uses ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) with a significance level (P &lt; 0.05) and SPSS 22 software. The results of the research show that the use of natural sourdough yeast and the long final proofing treatment have a significant effect on the physical quality of white bread in the form of dough riseability, porosity and softness of the bread. The use of natural sourdough yeast produced the highest value at the 45% level for the parameters of dough riseability of 58.631%, porosity of 54.851 pores and softness of white bread 154.262 mm/50g/10s. Sembrani variety https://agriculturalscience.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/agriscience/article/view/125 <p>The aim of this research was to determine the effect of cow manure and cow biourine on the growth and yield of shallots. This experiment used a factorial experiment with a Randomized Group Design (RAK). The treatment tried consisted of two factors, namely the first factor was the dose of solid manure (O) with 4 levels, namely O0: without manure (control), O1: dose of 5 tons.ha-1 (0.5 kg of solid manure.petak- 1), O2: dose 10 ton.ha-1 (1.0 kg solid manure.plot-1), O3: dose 15 ton.ha-1 (1.5 kg solid manure.plot-1). The second factor is the concentration of cow biourine (U) with 4 levels, namely U0: without cow biourine (control), U1: 10% concentration or 100 ml.l-1 cow biourine, U2: 20% concentration or 200 ml.l-1 cow biourine , and U3: 30% concentration or 300 ml.l-1 bovine biourine. Each combination treatment was repeated 3 times. The treatment dose of solid cow manure had a very significant effect on the wet weight of the crown per hill and the wet weight of the tubers per hill. A dose of solid manure of 10 tons.ha-1 gave the highest wet weight of tubers per hill, namely 146.30 g. The cow biourine concentration treatment had a very significant effect on the oven dry weight of the canopy per hill, the wet weight of the canopy per hill and the number of leaves per hill at the age of 56 days after planting, 42 days after planting. A cow biourine concentration of 20% or 200 ml.l-1 gave the highest wet weight of tubers per hill, namely 127.50. Gallus domesticus and pama-khoy chicken varieties can be sold at the age of 6 months. The need for care for these varieties of chickens is easy to get at quite affordable prices. This study uses a combination of methods, namely qualitative and quantitative. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation and documentation techniques. Based on the research results, it was found that a good way to cultivate chickens of the Gallus domesticus and pama-khoy varieties is by paying attention to and meeting the needs of the chickens in terms of food given according to meal times, a chicken coop as a place for shelter and a place for the chickens to live and preventing predators, providing vitamins, as well as electricity for lamps to provide lighting in the chicken coop. The income from the Gallus domesticus chicken business is IDR. 1,556,200, which is less than the income of pama-khoy chicken, which is Rp. 3,936,200. Seedlings in Polybags https://agriculturalscience.unmerbaya.ac.id/index.php/agriscience/article/view/126 <p>This research was carried out for 3 months, namely from March 2023 to June 2023, located at the BPDAS-HL Palu-Poso Permanent Nursery, this study used the Complete Randomized Design method consisting of 4 treatments, namely P0 = 0%, P1 = 20%, P2 = 30% and P3 = 30%. The four treatments were repeated seven times, bringing the total sample to 28 experimental units. The parameters observed are the increase in seedling height, stem diameter and number of leaves. The data analysis used is fingerprint analysis (F test) fingerprint analysis shows that the best treatment, it will be continued with further tests, namely the BNJ test level of 5%. The results showed that the concentration treatment of liquid organic fertilizer made from gamal leaves had a real influence on the increase in height, stem diameter and number of leaves in arabica coffee seedlings. However, Kenya faces significant post-harvest losses, mainly attributed to challenges in first and last-mile logistics. In the era of technological advancements, this research paper explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the Kenyan agri-food supply chain. Building on existing information, the study focuses on AI's role in monitoring and controlling farmland outputs, optimizing supply chain logistics, and addressing fraud and counterfeiting. The research objectives include assessing AI's utility in monitoring and controlling outputs in farmlands improving supply chain efficiency, and combating fraud in agricultural inputs. Research methods involve a comprehensive literature review, analyzing case studies such as Project FARM and FAO's Fall Armyworm Monitoring and Early Warning System, and reviewing scholarly articles on AI applications in agriculture. The research results highlight the benefits of leveraging AI in farmland monitoring, climate change adaptation, supply chain logistics, and fraud prevention. AI technologies can enhance agricultural productivity, reduce transportation costs, and eliminate corruption in the supply chain. The findings suggest that integrating AI systems into the agri-food supply chain is vital for achieving sustainable agriculture in Kenya. Bacteria-specific primer 27F paired with the universal primer 1492R was used in PCR to detect plant pathogenic bacteria in symptomatic leaves of tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.), chili pepper (Capsicum annum L.), napa cabbage (Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis L.), cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata L.), and longan (Dimocarpus longan Lour.). The targeted single bands with length of 1400 bp were obtained but bidirectional sequencing of the PCR products recovered partial sequence of chloroplast instead of bacterial genomes. Thus, this result confirmed cross amplification of 27F/1492R primer pair against chloroplast genome of plants. Phylogenetic tree was constructed to separate the tested isolates according to their taxonomic relations: Order Sapindales, Solanales, and Brassicales. In-silico analysis on the new five and nineteen selected sequences in NCBI GenBank detected at least seven conserved regions with some single nucleotide polymorphisms.
